The irresistible Gelato Mitico experience

Julien Limbach, the former Belgian ice cream champion, and his partner Katrien Van Goethem have just sprinkled a dash of magic onto the ice cream scene of Antwerp and Morstel with their latest venture: Mitico Gelato. Julien, originally a chef, fell in love with the art of ice cream making a few years back. His passion propelled him to the top of his craft, where in 2021 he clinched the Belgian Gelato Championship with a daring creation featuring porcini mushrooms, black olives, and pistachios.

Following the success of their previous ice cream parlor, Julien and Katrien decided to embark on a new chapter, this time with Mitico. Nestled on Statielei in Mortsel, Mitico not only offers an extensive range of classic flavors but also surprises patrons with creations infused with an Ecuadorian twist, paying homage to Katrien's heritage. With a spacious and well-equipped workshop, they have all the room they need to perfect their craft.
